meet Mike Vondal
Mike Vondal is the owner and president of Embassy Construction, LLC and a lifelong Dubuque Resident. He began his carpentry training as an apprentice in his early twenties. In a few years, his skills as a finish carpenter, work ethic, leadership and, meticulous attention to detail made him the "go-to" sub-contractor for local commercial contracting firms.
His team was the primary carpenters that built the Hilton Gardens and Houlihans at Greyhound Park, Manna Café Java West, The Hampton Inn Dubuque, The Armed Forces Recruiting Center, and Premier Bank at Asbury Plaza. The most public display of Mike's work is the steeple he built atop Dubuque's Chamber of Commerce Building.
In 2014 Mike expanded his operations to include home remodeling services and new home construction. He relaunched Embassy Construction, LLC, as a full-service General Contractor serving residential and commercial clients in Dubuque and surrounding towns in 2017.

DESIGN SERVICEs:
Our general practice is to offer a “free initial consultation.” However, not all home renovation projects require the same scope of service. We specialize in larger and more involved home remodels, some of which require architectural and design services for projects that require more intensive design and planning.
